The Penny Lane Saturday Record Swap starts June 23. Be there or be square! Every week, we'll host a different group of vendors, from which we are currently taking reservations. Space is limited so contact us soon to get in on the ground floor of what is sure to become an essential regular stop for vinyl junkies (as well as music and film lovers, in general) from all over Southern California. This is destined to be a truly unique and special weekly event - don't miss out!
Vendors: Introductory prices for spaces are $25 for 13 feet of spined vinyl in a record fixture that we provide. This includes, at your option, the ability to store your items for the following week so you don't have to haul it back and forth. We also provide other fixtures for CD and DVD merchandising - 32 spined feet for $25. Or, bring your own table and do it your way for the same price. Email or call us at 909-982-1212 for more info.

PENNY LANE HAS MOVED!
After 22 years in Pasadena, with retail stores throughout Los Angeles since 1985, Penny Lane Records has moved its operation to 1551 West 13th Street, Unit 107 in Upland, California, which is about 20 non-rush hour minutes east of Pasadena. We are very optimistic about this move, and though we’ll miss the frequent visits from our regular locals, we hope you’ll all still make the short trip to visit us. We are still aggressively buying music, movies, games and iPods. Please call us at 909-982-1212 for an appointment to purchase your items while we are setting up.
The move will also involve some changes to our operation. Though our new day-to-day emphasis will be online sales, we will still be open to the public on Saturdays. Additionally, we will be inviting other music vendors to share our new space with a weekly record meet (vendors: contact Steve), and we will be participating in the regular monthly record swap meet circuit - PCC, Buena Park, etc. - we hope to see you all there.

This is awkward - we're selling more used music and movies than we're buying. It's the perfect time for you to take advantage of the situation by bringing your collection in - the more, the better. CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray are a priority for us right now, but we're always buying LPs, 45s, video games, cassettes and iPods. If you have more than a carload, call us to make arrangements for a house call, or we'll reserve a space in our loading zone for your big rig.
